Jim and I were classmates and friends since our days at Spring Glen Elementary school. We lost touch over the years, but it was always great to run into him. The last time I saw Jim he was playing his bass with a band at the My Place Tavern.
I ran into Jim back in about 1980. We had some common friends in Auburn at that time and Jim was playing with The Great Pretenders at the Firwood Tavern .We spent an evening sharing a bottle of Jack Daniels and swapped stories of back in the day. We lost touch and went our own ways. Some years later,I don't remember just when, I saw his obit in the tacoma paper. Way too young!!!
