Oh my goodness, this is really a shock, I can't remember when I didn't know Geraldine. We were in the same Sunday School class. When I think of Geraldine, I see her hair in beautiful long black braids and her little frilly dress above her knees. She was so tall! I just looked at her senior picture in the annual and she looked so lovely, so poised and sophoisticated. The world has lost a beautiful person and I send my condolences to her family. Rest in Peace, dear Geraldine.
Spent so many wonderful summer days with Geraldine riding our horses all over Renton, Issaquah, and Newcastle - along Cedar River and the base of Cougar and Squak Mts. At age 16 we rode our horses to a campsite and spent the night without our parents. Geraldine was quiet and polite. I have such fond memories of her and our therapeutic horseback riding adventures.
When I saw the notice about Geri, I couldn't help thinking that it was difficult to remember Geri without thinking about Peggy and Patti Vincent also. We had some great times together. The last time I saw Geri I was working in the lab at UW hospital. I had to go to the NICU to draw blood on her baby. We exchanged phone numbers and promised to keep in touch. Sadly we didn't. She was a sweet and beautiful soul.
