I met Glen at Bryn Mawr elementary, sorry to hear of his passing.

Glenn and I spent our freshman summer riding our one-speed bikes all over Bryn Mawr, Skyway, Lakeridge, and south Seattle. I enjoyed playing football with him our freshman and sophomore years. Sad when I moved to Kent and ended up the opponent of so many of my childhood friends.

I remember Glenn being on the Wheaties box for taking second place in the nation in the shot put.

We attended college together; I also knew his wife and kids, who grew up knowing my wife and kids later in life.

It takes some getting used to, seeing old friends die, and not seeing them again. Love to all of you, Dick

I'm not sure I remember this correctly, but I seem to recall that Glenn, as a star, appeared on the back of a Wheaties Cereal Package, when they were picturing "Team Wheaties" school athalets ... I also remember that he and I were interested in the same girl (her dad was a teacher at Renton), but I was the one who ended up taking her to the Arrow Lanes dance that weekend ... we never really liked each other much after that, but he was a good sport ... good at sports that is!
