Drewe Plano

It is with great sadness that we add another classmate to our list of those who are no longer with us. Drewe was a great guy who is defiently leaving us too soon. He loved to golf, fish and spend time with his family. Drewe you will be greatly missed by your family, friends and classmates. May you always hit them long and straight!

I didn't know Drewe well at RHS.  But knew him and Linda later.  Linda and I played women's soccer together (ca 1970s-80s).   Drewe would always come to the games.  He was Linda's biggest cheerleader.  I still smile as I picture them arriving at a soccer field in a cloud of dust, with Linda's jersey (apparently fresh out of the laundry) hanging out the passenger window to dry.  They were wonderful together!  My deepest condolences to Linda and to the rest of Drewe's family on the loss of a very good man.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Drewe. I knew him from junior and senior high. He was one of the good guys!  Always polite and smiling. My heart goes out to his family, as he will be truly missed. R.I.P. dear class mate.

Drewe was a great guy who is gone way too soon. Drewe and I played golf many a Saturday morning at the Maplewood golf course in the mens club. Drewe, Ron Carver, Ted LaValley, Randy Benkhe and I had many fun rounds of golf and a few beers afterwards to celebrate our success or drown our sorrows as the case may have been. But naturally I have to tell a good high school story on Drewe. If many of you remember in high school it was a big deal to have really pressed jeans or pants with a very distinctive pressed seam running down each leg of our jeans. Naturally Drewe had the best pressed jeans of all. So one Saturday after a round of golf I asked Drewe how he accomplished such an important feat. And he said, "Well evernight I iron my jeans for about an hour using a towel and a steam iron. And then during the day while sitting in class I would stick my legs out into the isle and not bend them." And that my friends was when I realized I was in the presence of a master! 😂😂😂>p>

Drewe you've left us way too soon and may your drives be long and straight and the fish you catch all be world records!
