Barbara. I remember you being on the Drill Team, and that you had a funny giggle ...Also remember that back at the time of the '75 reunion you and your husband John were going to move into a new home ...
Someone has listed you, here, on this web site as having died ... that's sad ... hope that you had a good life, and helped change the world for the better, before you died. Wish that someone could provide us, your classmates with a little more information?
Barbara (Wright) Ivanich, (1947 - 2000) was employed by Quantas Airlines until her marriage to John Ivanich in 1970. They purchased their family home in the Renton Highlands and raised two children. She was a consumate homemaker, supportive wife and devoted mother. Barbara enjoyed camping, spending time with family & friends, playing bunko and watching softball games. She was always super sharp and practical - many came to rely upon her for her sage advice and finance skills. She was taken from us far too soon, after a brief and traumatic illness, at the age of 52, and she is deeply missed. Barbara is survived by her husband John Ivanich of Renton; son John Ivanich of Kent; daughter Jamie (Ivanich) Jenkins of Kent; 3 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.
Barb Wright was truly one of the greatest Class of 65 members we ( RHS 65 ) ever had the pleasure to enjoy...Barb was very accepting of me in my southern Illinois way...She was truly one of my best friends from Renton High...
Early in 1976 Mary Lakie called me and suggested I should get together with Barb because she had a daughter 6 weeks old and my daughter was just a little younger. So I called her and thus began a best friend relationship until she passed. We did everything together with our kids including a camping trip to Canada and a trip to Disneyland. I keep in touch with her daughter Jamie and my daughter and her daughter remain the best of friends. I miss Barb very much and I can't believe 15 years have gone by. She was a beautiful person inside and out.
