Unfortunately we have lost another one of our amazing classmates. Mary Jane passed away in September of 2025. She was a Lakeridge girl who went to Lakeridge Elementary, Dimmitt Jr High and then good old RHS. MJ, as her friends called her, will be truly missed by friends, family and RHS classmates.

I met Mary Jane in the 7th grade, she was such a warm, bubbly caring girl. Rest in Peace, dear Mary Jane, I will never forget you.

I was the only boy in typing class because my Mom thought all boys should know how to type for the future !! I sat next to Mary Lakie, Phyllis Radke, and Joan Evans. Sooooo, here's my story ! We had to use any left over paper for practice. It just so happened that I was using a paper that the girl before me had left her name at the top. It was " Charlotte " . So Mary saw that and for the rest of the school year those girls called me " Charlotte".They thought that was really funny and we became good RHS friends because of that. I wasn't bothered by that and loved all 3 of those young ladies. It is so sad to hear that Mary has passed and wish all 3 were still with us. RIP Mary
