Memories of RHS?
Flying paper airplanes out of the little room just off the study hall. Having Mr. Weber, come up to the study hall, to see why paper airplanes were flying past his office window.
Being in Homec during the big earthquake, running outside and jumping into Corky Eflving's arms. Having the Homec student teacher ask me who the good looking guy was!
Rescuing my disection frog from the biology room and putting him in the toilet. I can still hear the girls screaming.
Going to the "Rec" dances, walking to the Dairy Queen afterwords.
"Cruising the Loop". Going to the "Blue Ox" for lunch.
Slumber parties for 18 girls at Judy Mjanger's house. Swinging on the swings in Liberty Park, in the middle of the night. Swimming in Cedar River. Was the town of Renton ever the same after we graduated?
Being in Mr. Wingard's class the day that JFK was shot, and seeing my beloved teacher cry in front of his class.
Meeting so many fantastic people, who still mean so much to me after all these years

The RHS Class of 1965 is so special, most of us met in 7th grade when Dimmitt Jr. High opened. Coming from the insular Benson Hill  area was an eye opener when I met so many new kids from Lake Ridge, Bryn Mawr-Skyway.

It is a tribute to all of us that we have remained friends for so many years. I still remember being amazed that these 13 yearold kids could go down to Lake Washington and take their parent's boats out to water ski without adult supervision. They were patient and tried their best to teach me to ski but I was a failure. I think it was because I was afraid that they never really had permission to use the boats and I kept looking out for angry dads to show up.

It has been my privilage to take photographs of our class reunions and it is comforting to go back to see the faces of so many of our dear friends that we have now lost. Ron had the distinction of being one of the few classmates still able to fit into his CRRR shirt and if you look at our past reunions you will see him proudly wearing it.

Rest in Peace Ron, we will miss you and think of you when we meet up next year.
