Comments:

Winter has come, once again to our little place in SE Alaska. Got aver two feet of fresh snow yesterday. Spent much of the day shoveling and snow-blowing. Been a great year. Beautiful Summer and Fall. Trying to get caught up on 40 plus years of deferred landscaping on our three wooded acres here in town. Much dead and down timber in the woods. Cleaned alot up but much yet to do. Very dry weather. Couldn't burn any slash till late Fall. Barbara and I again, attended our annual Special Operations Reunion in Las Vegas. Means so much to me to see again those I fought beside so long ago and to remember those who didn't come home. Very healing. God bless you all.

School Story:

Will always remember driving the "loop", drinking a cold one and stopping at Dag's for a burger. Can still hear all the great sounds on KJR! It really was like the movie AMERICAN GRAFITTI! wouldn't trade it for anything.
The trips with the RHS gymnastics team and coach Jack Benson were great times too!

Hey Darryl, happy birthday. Only a day late! Only best wishes to you and yours. I remember that cool (1932?) Chevy you used to drive. I recall an exciting evening on Rainier Ave. with myself, Dick Jones and Charlie Ashmore with you at the wheel. Spring 1965.

I last saw Jordan while my recon team were finishing a combat operation in Vietnam.  He was a member of a twelve-man A-team at a place called Hah-Than.  Couldn't believe it!  The extraction helo I was on had to make an emergency landing there due to battle damage.  There was Jordan with that big smile of his.  They had a small club in their team house inside the camp.  We drank lots of ice cold beer (whiskey too) late into the night.  Always remembered him and wondered where he went after all these years.  Hope his life was good and he was happy.  He and I were the only two 65' grads that went through Ft. Bragg NC Special Forces training and served as Green Berets in Vietnam, so far as I know.  We'll meet again one day, Brother.
