Brian Snelson

Brian Snelson

Another one of our classmates has passed on January 21, 2021. Brian was in rehab from a recent cancer procedure and developed a blood clot that went to his lung and then brain which resulted in a seizure and immediate passing without any pain. Brian you will be surely missed by your friends, family and classmates. May the sun always warm you and the wind be at your back. RIP my friend.

I am heartbroken to hear this. Recently, Brian had shared some of his medical struggles with me and I know that he tried so hard to beat this. He was a wonderful person and I know that he will be missed by all who knew him. I send my condolences to his family.

One of the finest from RHS '65. Always great to visit with. See you on the other side someday.

This makes me incredibly sad. You never forget your first love, and Brian was mine. The thing I remember most about him is his sense of humor, which runs in the family. I spent many a Sunday afternoon with his family, and jokes were in plentiful supply as we watched Wide World of Sports together. I was happy to reconnect via Facebook these last few years, and to see him at his father's funeral a couple of years ago. My heart goes out to his daughter, grandchildren, brother and sister as they mourn his loss. Rest in peace, friend.

I am so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. Brian and I were good friends in high school. We shared several classes together as well as being in sports he in cross country and track and me in wrestling. We lost touch after graduation, I'm sad to say. This really hits home. My heart goes out to his family. Rest in peace my friend.

Brian and his family lived a block down from me while in high school . . .
I have read some of the comments about Brian and his wit and I was lucky to have been able to see it first hand. Over the last couple of years, Brian was my "pun buddy" and we shared many a chuckle, grins and groans via FB. I am heart broken about his passing, especially when I heard how fast he was taken from us, but also knowing he was in no prolonged pain. I will miss my morning pun waiting for me when I log onto FB!! RIP neighbor and condolences to his family . . .
